The processor group is used to license our software. Currently the processor group must match that of the system on which the software is running. Future versions may allow licensing at a higher processor group, while runtime is at a smaller processor group. For example, customers could license the software on process group P40 and it will function properly on the system with the matching serial number provided the processor group is P40 or smaller.
